Who are the Oath Guard?

Don't confuse us with that racist militia group with a similar name!

Never confuse us with that other group with a similar name, that racist, right-wing militia. That other group dishonored their oath to the U.S. Constitution by trying to overthrow our Constitutional form of government on January 6th, 2021. We, the Oath Guard, were formed after January 6th, 2021, as a pro-Constitution counterpoint to that other group with a similar name, a name they dishonor the same way they dishonor their oath to the U.S. Constitution!

Unlike that other group with a similar name:

  • We are not a militia.

  • We are not a white supremacist group.

  • We are not right-wing extremists.

  • We are not domestic terrorists, insurrectionists, cop killers, and coup plotters, as that other group proved themselves to be on January 6th, 2021.

  • We will never take up arms against the United States Government, as that other group did on January 6th, 2021.

  • We will never try to overturn the U.S. Constitution and replace the elected leaders with a dictator, like that other group did on January 6th, 2021.

  • We will never try to overthrow the U.S. government, as that other group did on January 6th, 2021.

  • We have absolutely no relation to those traitors and oath breakers who stormed the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021 trying to overthrow the U.S. government, destroy the U.S. Constitution, and replace the legitimately elected leaders with a dictator named Donald Trump (a.k.a. traitor-Trump, a.k.a. tyrant-Trump, a.k.a. the head of the Trump Crime Family.

  • In short, we are not anti-American, as that other group is.

We, the Oath Guard, were formed after January 6th, 2021, as a pro-Constitution foil to that other group with a similar name, a name they dishonor the same way they dishonor their oath to the U.S. Constitution! We believe that other group with a similar name are racists, white supremacists, right-wing extremists, domestic terrorists, insurrectionists, coup plotters, anti-Constitution, anti-American, and Cult 45 cultists who worshipped traitor-Trump and tried to help him overthrow the U.S. Constitution that traitor-Trump so clearly despised.

What are we, then? Who are the Oath Guard?

First, we are everything that the other group with a similar name is not (even though they pretend to be).

  • We are pro-Constitution. The entire Constitution.

  • We are pro-Bill of Rights. The entire Bill of Rights, not just the ones favored by one political party or the other!

  • We are pro-civil rights. All civil rights, for all people.

  • We are non-partisan.

  • We despise racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, and bigotry of every kind.

  • We are pro-America, in the way described by Union General Carl Schurz: "Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right."

  • We believe all people are created equal, regardless of race, religion, national origin, skin color, sex, sexuality, age, or income.

  • We believe that the American people not only deserve freedom, but are guaranteed that freedom by the United States Constitution. However, we do not believe corporations are "people."

  • We are peaceful, but strong. We do not believe in violence, so we will never attack, but we do believe in the right to defend ourselves and our families if attacked.

  • We believe "The pen is mightier than the sword," but we believe people have the right to both pens (1st Amendment) and swords (2nd Amendment).

  • We believe that free people should never be disarmed by their government, or they will no longer be free. We believe that when the founding fathers wrote in the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed," they meant exactly what they said, "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.." We also know the meaning of the prefatory clause that comes before those words, which does not negate the rest of the sentence, but supports and strengthens it.

  • We respect all religions, just as we respect all races, nationalities, and skin colors.

  • We believe America is a nation of immigrants, and that immigrants should be celebrated, not scapegoated.

  • We believe Donald Trump is a racist, a traitor, a crook, a crime boss, a pathological liar, a puppet of Vladimir Putin, and the worst human being ever to disgrace the Oval Office of the White House. This is not negotiable -- if you are a supporter of Traitor-Trump, you do not belong in the Oath Guard!
